Bootleggers Cocktail Event 13th July 2024
On July 13th, CCAB (Canada College of Arts and Business) proudly participated in the highly anticipated Bootleggers Cocktail event held at the scenic False Creek in Vancouver. This event, known for its vibrant atmosphere and top-notch mixology, brought together enthusiasts, industry professionals, and curious newcomers for an unforgettable evening of networking, entertainment, and indulgence.
Engaging with the Community
Our booth at the event became a hub of activity as attendees flocked to learn more about CCAB’s unique offerings. Faculty members and current students were on hand to provide insights into our diploma programs in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Graphic & Visual Design, and more. Visitors were particularly interested in our hands-on learning approach and the opportunities for practical experience through internships and co-op programs.
Highlighting the Hospitality Management Program
Given the event’s focus on cocktails and hospitality, our Hospitality Management program took center stage. Faculty and students from the program engaged with event-goers, discussing the curriculum, career prospects, and the value of gaining practical skills in a real-world setting. The event provided a perfect platform for our students to apply their knowledge, network with industry professionals, and gain insights into the latest trends in hospitality.
Networking and Collaboration
The Bootleggers Cocktail event was not only about showcasing our programs but also about building connections. Our representatives had the opportunity to network with industry leaders, potential employers, and fellow educational institutions. These interactions opened doors for future collaborations, internships, and job placements for our students, reinforcing CCAB’s role as a gateway to successful careers.
Looking Ahead
CCAB’s participation in the Bootleggers Cocktail event was a resounding success, underscoring our commitment to providing our students with enriching experiences that extend beyond the classroom. We look forward to participating in more events like this, where education meets industry, and opportunities for growth and development abound.
